Mustard Seed Sorting Center Volunteering
Updated: Apr 1, 2021
We are very happy to find ways to give back to our community. Our two days volunteer at Mustard were very great despite the current pandemic. We were able to maintain social distancing while doing our jobs. Our volunteering started at 1 pm where 7 out of our 8 reserved members assembled outside the sorting center. We were welcomed by a coordinator, who screened us and directed us to fill a health precaution form while checking our temperature. We then proceeded to the sorting room with our gloves and masks on. Dew (the coordinator) educated us on where their donations come from and how they get it out to the public. We saw donations of different kinds and in surplus indicating how loving and caring the city of Calgary is towards its less opportune.

Special thanks to our awesome members who took some time out of their busy schedule to make themselves available. And to those who couldn't, hope we see you next time.
